About
Hello!
I’m Tracy, thanks for visiting my website.
We’re working very hard just now to make this website as informative and useful as we can, whilst at the same time we’re opening a brand new Around The Block shop in Bognor Regis! Busy and exciting times!
I have worked very hard to obtain accreditation with the Institute of Modern Dog Trainers; we train dogs and their handlers using only kindness and positive reinforcement methods that are backed up with science. To become a member I had to complete CPD and agree to their ethics. I strongly believe that anyone that has any sentient creature in their care (that includes human beings!) should never intentionally inflict harm upon them, and so that is why you will not find any equipment in my shop that will cause a dog harm or to be fearful.
Over the past five years, I’ve raised three Labrador puppies: two for assistance dog charities and one as a personal pet. During this time, I’ve immersed myself in dog-related literature, webinars, workshops, seminars, and multi-day courses. These experiences culminated in me achieving accreditation as a dog trainer and gaining membership in the Institute of Modern Dog Trainers after successfully passing a rigorous assessment.
Through my journey in dog training, I’ve frequently found it challenging to locate high-quality dog food, treats, durable dog beds, and toys that can withstand vigorous play.
Join me on my quest to discover premium pet products alongside my dog Norton, and perhaps a few more assistance dog puppies in the future. Stay tuned for updates on both the shop and website.
I’m looking forward to connecting with you soon,
Tracy
